The collection consists of three typewritten letters, two in German, one in English, three handwritten cards, all in German, and four photographs clipped from newspapers, one with a review of his novel, Faber, in English. Includes: Letter to Mrs. Louise Collier Willcox, 17 June 1924, thanking her for translating his novel, Ulrike Woytich, into English (with a typed translation into English); to Henry Albert Phillips, 22 Feb. 1926, relating his itinerary for a forthcoming trip; to Dear sir, in English, 6 March 1931, explaining the meaning of a specific sentence in one of his works. Also, postcards in German to Rudolf Voigt, 24 March 1924; Henry Albert Phillips, 15 Nov. 1926; and, Miss Carolyn Myers, 24 Feb. 1927. Also, four undated photographs of Wassermann, clipped from unidentified magazines or newspapers. One clipping includes a review of an English translation of Wassermann's novel, Faber.

Henry Albert Phillips (1880-1951) was an American author, editor and lecturer. He was associate editor of several magazines and lectured in New York City between 1909 and 1918.
